Reid Don't Want It, Obama Won't Sign It

Boehner's latest plan has ZERO chance.  The GOP are in revolt and won't vote for it either.  Harry Reid won't pass it in the Senate and the President has said he won't sign it.  Democrats say it caters to the Tea Party.  Republicans say it doesn't go far enough.

What now?  Who knows.  One thing I do know - these guys are NOT anywhere close to a deal.

  1. Ain't that the truth.

The Boehner plan isn't all bad, but it still kicks the can down the curb.

    That's...problematic...to say the least.

  2. Boehner seems a lot more like the adult in the room than Obama. And while the latest deal seems really weak, at least he's not giving the media the opportunity to create the myth that the GOP are the ones saying 'no' or are the party of no ideas.

    Obama's ideas put on paper = 0.

As for a valid solution, I think where this is headed is the GOP having to settle with more debt, no new taxes and trying to tackle it after 2012 when the re-take the White House.
