SCOTUS on fire: student loans are still loans

The Supreme Court's third major decision of the day, pitches a strikeout for Let's Go Brandon. It's also a strikeout for those who thought they did not have to pay for their own education.

Busy day for SCOTUS

The Supreme Court today sided with the first amendment over the woke agenda, in the second win in a row for common sense

America finally stops discrimination against Asians

But racism!!!

Obstruction, corruption, Let's Go Brandon

Sounds like a song; a bad one:

This is mafia-level criminal activity at the highest levels of the United States government.

Canada, ugh

Hot on the heels of a big "Toronto, ugh" comes fascist Justin Trudeau and his love for socialists in a blatant Canada, ugh moment. Canada is sucking huge right now, at least in some key parts of the country.

Toronto, ugh.

There are times I hold out hope for Canada regaining some common sense. This was not one of them; Toronto elected a socialist mayor this week, Olivia Chow.   In a field of over 100 candidates, she garnered roughly 37% of the vote. This comes on the heels of a squishy conservative mayor, who resigned after being caught having an affair with a staff member. There is a total of 0% good news in this story.

Peter Zeihan's take on the Russian non-coup

I think there's a confluence of things happening that are shaping Russian opposition to the war in Ukraine, or perhaps more accurately, eroding confidence in Putin's leadership.  A deep fake Putin TV broadcast is one such example; even though it was stopped and discredited quickly, the fact that it could happen in mother Russia has to have some people thinking about the ramifications of it happening in the first place.

Another example is the non-coup. How does this impact Russian thinking about the war? Certainly not in a patriotic way.  Peter Zeihan opines on the implications of the non-coup.

The coup accomplished nothing, as far as the Wagner Group is concerned but as part of a broader picture, it may be an important signal of coming events that do not bode well for Russia.

The five laws of stupidity: more relevant now than ever

This theory has profound implications to today's society.  Watch the video, it has immense relevance, some of which I touch on below the video.

If you think of Democrats (and establishment Republicans) as the bandits, clueless voters as the helpless and those we regard as useful idiots as the stupid people, with a small proportion of society as the intelligent people, it really starts to make sense. He mentions that the intelligent people drifting into the bandit quadrant as how societies fall apart, that makes a lot of sense too.

The question is, what can be done about it? Can stupid be fixed? Can helpless people be made aware and hopefully moved into the intelligent quadrant?  I think the latter is what we on the right are trying to do by establishing a more pervasive common sense. But is it enough? Are there enough?

The bandits would like to see as many people in both the helpless quadrant as possible because they are easier to victimize and provide profit.  They are constantly feeding the pipeline to helpless.  Inadvertently, they are creating more stupid people which long term hurts even them. Smart bandits should realize this, and perhaps some do.

Perhaps the best way to deal with the downward spiral of society is to predict bandit behavior. Speaking about the smart bandits for example, if you know they are trying to skew others towards the helpless quadrant, leverage what they are doing. In this way, you can skew the target audience from moving towards helpless to moving more towards intelligent.  Volunteer to assist, as boots on the ground, in a bandit's effort to make people more helpless but take the opportunity to communicate relevant  information to move the recipients more towards informed intelligence.  All of society benefits from more people of intelligence.  Look at the grid in the quadrants of the video; intelligent people benefit others and themselves.

Yes, it's an uphill battle, it always will be, but it's one worth fighting.

Why "follow the science" makes no sense

The problem with the whole notion of "follow the science" and if you don't your a denier, a luddite, a fascist far-right nazi is that it's wrong.  Science itself is not supposed to follow the science.  The scientific method is to propose a hypothesis and test it.

If we followed the science in the era of Christopher Columbus, we might still think the world was flat.  Science is meant to question itself.  If Albert Einstein didn't think for himself we wouldn't have a more advanced alternative to Newtonian physics.

We HAVE to question the science, not follow it.  Any scientist who thinks otherwise, or says otherwise, any politician who says otherwise, guaranteed, has an agenda; be it climate change, vaccines or whatever else inevitably comes along that ends up getting leveraged for some agenda.

The more you lean into not questioning anything, the more you end up with cognitive bias. That is the point society has reached, prior to the change we are starting to see now. Many people are waking up to reality.  The frog in the slowly boiling pot of water may have finally realized what is happening to it.

This nine year old, but still highly relevant video, shows the impact of cognitive bias on thought processes and a sure fire way to avoid falling into that trap.

As Bill Burr so comically put it in one of his routines, "how come you can't ask questions"? That's exactly what we should be doing as human beings, always. Otherwise we will all end up as a cog in someone's agenda, and that agenda could be quite nefarious.

Two tier justice system

Here's more on the incredible governmental scandal involving not just Hunter Biden but Let's Go Brandon himself. The two tier justice system in America is in your face evil at this point:

Stuff you didn't know about Manchin's agenda

Peter Zeihan has disappointed me on politics but his understanding of geo-politics is typically spot on.  Here he answers a question about what Joe Manchin's machinations have delivered to his state. It's an interesting take.

Mark Dice discusses the Hunter Biden fiasco and a few other things.

Justin Trudeau more wrong than wrong

I have lived in Canada (unfortunately) my entire life.  I have never seen such an incompetent and wrong-headed leader as Justin Trudeau; he is more wrong than wrong.  Mind you I have seen some truly idiotic leaders, including his supposedly intellectual father Pierre Trudeau, but Justin Trudeau is the most unsound, stupid, leader Canada has had in my lifetime. Not only is he wrong, he admires communist China, so he's morally bankrupt as well.

Let's Go Brandon is beyond wrong on China

Not only is Let's Go Brandon weak on China, he's doing things to actively encourage their communist mission, enable them and get America out of their way.  He is beyond wrong on China, he's acting like an enemy of America.

Let's Go Brandon wants president Trump in jail

Let's Go (to jail) Brandon!

This is about to get hot.

Canada: Ugh!

This situation was clearly not approached in the right way, but the media reaction in Canada towards 'transphobic' people is the greater concern.  To pretend that trans athletes should just be allowed to compete and no questions or concerns should be addressed is frankly, Orwellian.

And yes, yelling at random children is not appropriate.  But neither are puberty blockers, or gender surgery for children.

Reaction to why they aren't going after Biden

There's a theory that they aren't going after Let's Go Brandon, whom even the left doesn't like, because they are protecting someone else: Obama. What follows is a reaction to that.

More government weaponized: president Trump

From Ray Epps to the next phony president Trump indictments, the government has been weaponized by the left and the self-serving bureaucrats and America is worse for it.  Here Benny Johnson shares Tucker Carlson's recent Twitter 'podcast' on why they want Trump so badly. It's bad.

Ray Epps, probably a Fed

Wolves and Finance takes down Ray Epps, likely federal agent and instigator on January 6th. The real story is that the FBI  is rotten to the core.

Vivek Ramaswamy - good for the GOP, bad for CNN

Look, it's not Vivek Ramaswamy's time (yet) to be the GOP nominee for president, but damn he's good for the GOP.  Having him out there doing interviews will only help Republicans. He has a Republican future if he wants.

The downfall will come

Red Eagle Politics discusses Let's Go Brandon trying to imprison his 2024 election rival.  As he says, this will backfire (spectacularly). President Trump did nothing wrong by the way.

If you don't make Trump president in 2024, America is over

I said earlier today - Trump is in the way.  They don't even care how bad it looks, they will do anything to stop him now. Phony indictments aplenty, all to stop president Trump from winning again. Let's Go Brandon and his FBI all need to be replaced.

Trump is in the way

Dronetek on YouTube discusses the Trump claim that they're after you and he's just in the way. It's scary that president Trump is probably right.

Influencers seeing the truth

I keep seeing more and more reaction videos that expose people who are unaware, to the truth about the Democrats.  I'm not getting tired of seeing them and I'm glad the truth is surfacing among influencers - and being shared.  Thi could be a seminal moment in American politics.

Dramatic Trump indictments coming! Yawn.

When will the left get sick of failed Trump indictments? Never. When will the MAGA right stop panicking about them? I think that train has already left the station.  But what this does is tie up some of president Trump's attention and some of his money.

The message that has to start sinking in, whether it's Trump on the right or Bernie Sanders on the left, is that outsiders are not welcome.  We on the right get it, on the left, Sanders was not a good enough example to get it through their heads that the government exists to serve the government, not the people, and it's been that way for a long time.

Tucker Carlson explodes on Twitter

And so do heads at Fox News:

As William Shakespeare wrote, truth will out.

Blame Canada

I'm Canadian. South Park's 'blame Canada' was funny even if not always accurate, is not unfair with respect to the wild fires causing New York to look almost like a sepia-tone movie...

More precisely... blame Justin Trudeau, first saying we're fine, nothing to see here.

And then admitting it's not true and getting help from Let's Go Brandon himself.

Almost perfect

Dave Rubin shares a clip of a 5th grade teacher calmly arguing facts in the face a near-hysterical, blind anger about the truth of sex and gender. His argument is almost, but not quite perfect.

The part that's missing is a simple explanation of the consequences (both intended and unintended consequences) of not adhering to facts.  To do so without getting into the slippery slope arguments is still entirely possible, and necessary. That's the important part that's missing, otherwise, very well done.

Ted Cruz is not wrong

 This is truth:

Why does anyone take him seriously?

James Comey, former FBI Director, loves Joe Biden. Probably because it means  his butt is safe. The real question is, why does anyone care what this lying, scheming, plotting coward has to say at this point?  The plot to topple president Trump and protect Hillary Clinton has been proven a complete hoax. He was a huge part of that. His words to quote LOTR,  "are poison".

Here's an example, via Breitbart:

Comey said, “I think about what four years of a retribution presidency might look like. He could order the investigation and prosecution of individuals who he sees as enemies. I’m sure I’m on the enemies list. Because the president constitutionally does oversee the Executive Branch entirely which includes the Department of Justice, prosecutors and investigators.”
Psaki said, “You are Republican most of your life, and you may still consider yourself one, but voted for Biden in 2020. Do you intend to vote for him again or is there anyone on the Republican side you might consider, if it’s not Trump?”
Comey replied, “It has to be Joe Biden. And I’m glad he’s willing to serve.”
He added, “It has to be somebody committed to the rule of law, committed to the values of this country. And I’m not talking about policy. People can disagree about policy. There are things above those disagreements that all of us should think about the same way. The president must be someone who abides the law and our Constitution. And there’s no one else but Joe Biden.”

If that doesn't turn your stomach then you don't follow politics.

It's all cyclical, even these levels of stupidity

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; 7a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace" (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

I've always argued that everything is cyclical.  Weakness follows strength, strength follows weakness. Recession follows prosperity, and prosperity follows recession. Summer follows spring, which follows winter, which follows fall and in turn it follows summer.  Warming follows cooling and vice versa.

That thought is both disheartening and inspiring depending on where in the cycle you might be. After all, cycles often take longer than a lifetime to complete. But right now it is an encouraging thought.  We may be at the very early stages of the rebirth of rational thought, at the end of an extended era of wokeness and emotion trumping common sense. The issues with Target and Bud Light may mark the turning point.

Of course that could just be a false hope. It's possible that the radical left are just retrenching for another 'final' assault on liberty and sanity. Maybe the stupid cycle isn't over just yet. Yet even if that is the case, even if the United States were to eventually fail, the ideas, the ideals will not expire, nor can they be extinguished. Someday were the United States to fail, a rebirth would be inevitable.  That is a reason for hope.

Of course, we'd all like to see it in our lifetimes, but that is not for us to decide.  All we can do is our own little part, as best we can, to make the attempt to help along the entire Western world in the return to common sense.

Wow, I just, wow...  this is one of those rare days I'm glad I'm not an American.  Let's see how CNN handles this versus the Trump slip but not fall on an icy ramp.

I also couldn't help but notice the roar of applause when he tripped.  Coincidence, possibly, but...

Don't debate in the debates!

From debate spaces to safe spaces.  I heard a great discussion about this on the Patriot channel on Sirius/XM earlier today.  High school debate judges who are bringing their literal Marxist view into judging debates and automatically disqualifying those who argue pro-capitalism stances, among other values or views (such as using the term illegal immigration), is disgusting.  But apparently, it's...acceptable?

Debate judges who not only bring their bias to the front, but don't actually want real debate. They want a safe space for their own views.  As judges no less. The insanity of that is that they are allowed to be in those judge roles.

Project Veritas lashes out at James O'Keefe

On February 20, 2023, James O'Keefe was removed from his leadership position at Project Veritas, under a cloud of suspicious claims that have so far not been proven correct.  What's happened since then?  A fair bit actually.  Most recently, Project Veritas has decided to sue it's founder James O'Keefe because apparently, he's winning:
The right-wing activist group Project Veritas filed a lawsuit Wednesday against its founder, James O'Keefe, alleging he violated his employment agreement by establishing a competing organization and wooing away donors while still on Project Veritas' payroll.

The organization is just butthurt that since his ouster that their YouTube videos have been lacklustre and failing to attract viewers in the numbers it did prior to his forced departure. O'Keefe's new organization, OMG, has not yet established the clout that Project Veritas once had, but it's only a few months old and already pulling in view that rival the substantially diminished Project Veritas. Same too for financial donations, which appear to have slowed substantially at Veritas.

What did they expect would happen?  I don't know if James O'Keefe was unkind to Veritas employees, but even if he was, it seems like some intermediate step to a coup d'etat would prove wise, unless there were ulterior motives to the plot to remove him, which a lot of people are thinking was the case.

Last month, O'Keefe appeared with Megyn Kelly to talk about what happened, here's his take:

Whatever happens to O'Keefe, Veritas has shot itself in the foot and is probably headed down the same path as Bud Light.
