60 Minutes: Part of the Coverup

Trying to make Kamala Harris look good when she can't do it on her own, will eventually have fallout for those who try to participate in the cover-up (just like it made the media look incredibly foolish for lying about Let's Go Brandon).

60 Minutes could implode for trying to cover up for Harris.  This isn't going to just go away I think:

Of course the cover-up scandals are not new to 60 Minutes.  They've been doing it since they lied about George Bush and would not own up to their lies. They were clearly biased in dealing with president Trump years ago too. 

The truth is that the truth does not matter to CBS. Never has, never will. It's still happening today. It's all about their absurd liberal bias agenda. Always has been, always will be. So when things don't go their way, they cover up and wait for the uproar to pass. This is why they cannot be trusted, and in large part, aren't.

Republican Congressman caught on hidden camera video makes the stunning confession that he'd like to do what Trump-backing Republicans have been saying publicly for a long time. Anti-Trump PAC founder Scott Dworkin retweets it in an attempt to "make it go viral". At this writing, it has 375 views.

Why?  Because in the undercover video exposé, conservative Congressional Representative David Schweikert (R-AZ6) who is a member of the Congressional Freedom Caucus, said privately exactly what he says publicly.  No scandal, only him telling the truth about his public opinion being truthful.  How that is scandalous is a mystery.

This will end up entrenching voters in Arizona who support David Schweikert and upsetting voters who already despise him. That's a gotcha fail.

Is Bernie Sanders going to have to drop out?

According to Breitbart, Bernie Sanders is facing a medical issue:

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) underwent emergency heart surgery, installing two stents in an artery, and has canceled all campaign events “until further notice,” his campaign announced Wednesday morning.

Sanders’ Senior Advisor Jeff Weaver said in an emailed statement that Sanders, 78, “experienced some chest discomfort” during a campaign event on Tuesday. A medical evaluation determined that he had a blockage in an artery, and two stents were “successfully inserted.”

Weaver said Sanders conversing and “in good spirits.” However, they are canceling all of his campaign activities until further notice.

It's well within the realm of possibility that Sanders will recover fully, but the question is whether his campaign can do the same. As a real contender, he can't afford an indefinite suspension of events and media face time. It puts his campaign at risk if he misses a weak. Further, there is an immediate perception problem. Voters will wonder, fairly, "is he physically up to the job?" It's not necessarily fair because he could recover fully but the perception may not follow suit. It's a fair perception because you cannot really know, but it is not necessarily fair to Bernie at the same time.

I am no fan of socialist Bernie, but it is an unfortunate development for his campaign. I suspect this is something that drops him back down to the top of the second tier - leaving Warren, Biden as the only contenders in the first tier. Sanders could find himself between that tier with support in the 20% plus range and ahead of Buttigieg and Harris in the 5% range. This could definitely drop Sanders from a barely top tier 16% down to 10%, clearly falling out of the top tier, away from potential recovery to a true contender.

That leaves Warren and Biden in the front runner category. If the Biden scandal pans out this becomes a Trump vs. Warren 2020 general election. Sanders' fellow socialist Elizabeth Warren has an opportunity to seize the nomination by the throat at this point. She will need to go after Biden to do it. It is interesting because with the next debate she will have to decide whether to go after the potential Ukraine scandal involving Biden, or to take the "high road" among Democrats and ignore the scandal.

Meanwhile in Canada, liberals being liberals

Watch this despicable agenda-driven ruining of a man's life for political purposes by a leftist Prime Minister and see if it doesn't remind you of what happened to Trump, Flynn and others in the U.S.  It's sickening.

Thankfully, just as the Mueller investigation led to exoneration, at least we know that Justin Trudeau is most likely going to be a one term Prime Minister and things here too, can be set right The justice system needs to be blind to political stripe just as much as it needs to be blind to color, religion, gender etc.  Why leftists don't get that is unfathomable.

Meanwhile, in Canada Trudeau still sucks

Second generation far left liberal (a.k.a. socialist) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is under fire, and his government is under fire for yet another scandal:

Canadians are due to go to the polls in October but Mr Trudeau is battling to maintain his popularity after becoming embroiled in claims his aides pressured former justice minister Jody Wilson-Raybould to ensure construction firm SNC-Lavalin avoided a corruption investigation. The 47-year-old insists there was no wrongdoing but 41 percent of Canadians disagreed with Mr Trudeau in a Leger poll for news agency The Canadian Press. Just 12 percent believed he hadn’t done anything wrong following the allegations which has left his Liberal Party in turmoil.

This is just the latest instance of the former drama teacher's abysmal leadership of Canada.  Recent polls prior to the scandal had new Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer within a percentage point of Justin Trudeau.

After a decade of conservative leadership under Stephen Harper, Canadians elected a liberal Trudeau for the second time in history. Justin's father Pierre led Canada from 1968 to 1979 and again from 1980 to 1984. His tenure was marked by both personal popularity and abysmal social and economic results. That Canada would elect another Trudeau is hard to understand but it proves again that an electorate is highly susceptible to charisma over substance, which is something conservatives continue to forget or not understand.

There's a lesson to be learned in Canada's Trudeau dynasty - facts and logic do not always matter in elections when liberals and socialists manage to nominate charismatic telegenic leaders.  Conservatives mocking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her lack of understanding of practically everything, do so at their own peril.  Yes, her policy pronouncements are downright foolish, but she has an audience. Just like Bernie Sanders climbed into national prominence, she could be a political threat down the road.  That part needs to be taken seriously.

Virginia's state Democrats are trying to save their control of the state in the face a three scandals involving the state's top Democrats.  Virginia's top 3 political figures, all Democrats, have all been implicated in either sexual or racial scandals.  Here's a quick breakdown:

Virginia Democrats have called on the African American Lt. Governor to resign, but not the white Governor. Conservatives have rightly seized on the inherent racism of those calls but they have overlooked the real problem. It's a set up.

If all three Democrat politicians were to resign, all three positions would be appointed by the Republican state legislature, thereby flipping the state to a Republican controlled state.

Here's the trap: that's only true if all three resign at the same time.  The Democrats however, by only calling on the Lt. Governor to resign are plotting for the governor to appoint a new Lt. Governor, free of scandal, before having to step down himself, thereby insulating themselves from losing control of the governorship. Then, when the inevitable does happen and all three of the scandal-plagued politicos are gone, a Democrat will still be in power due to the appointment and he or she can refill the other positions with more Democrats.

It's cynical. It's calculated and deliberate. It's being overlooked.  A triple impeachment should be on the Virginia state assembly agenda or more Democrats will be replace the disgraced trio and nothing will change.

Midterms Matter: New Jersey it's not just scandal, it's hypocrisy.

Besieged New Jersey senator Bob Menendez is not just scandal-plagued, he's a hypocrite.  Vote for his opponent and do New Jersey a favor.

Secret Society Scandal

Apparently the United States government was being run by a secret society that continues to exist.  It's not like we didn't suspect it, but it's about as bad you'd expect in its undermining of democracy. And unfortunately, it's real.

There is serious talk on Capitol Hill about the appointment of a second special counsel amid several new bombshell revelations swirling around the Trump/Russia probe. First, there are the allegations of shocking and substantial government surveillance abuses under President Obama outlined in the FISA abuse memo. Secondly, the FBI lost five months of key text messages between the anti-Trump/pro-Clinton FBI officials Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page. And now there's talk of a "secret society" of officials within the FBI that apparently met the day after the election of Donald J. Trump to plot against the president-elect.

They called themselves the secret society. And they were predetermining outcomes of investigations before they were finalized. It's so bad, the president had to comment.

In one of the biggest stories in a long time, the FBI now says it is missing five months worth of lovers Strzok-Page texts, perhaps 50,000, and all in prime time. Wow!

People on the left will tweet about the president  being out of line for comment but his response was more restrained than I expected and it doesn't go far enough.  I think president Trump is holding his powder because more will come out soon. The Strzok-Page texts that have been referenced are just the tip of the malfeasance iceberg.

In Canadian politics, if you erase emails, you pay the consequences

Unlike Hillary Clinton, In Canada the Ontario provincial liberals were engrossed in a gas plant scandal and some emails implicating top politicians were deliberately erased.  Today, someone paid the price with a conviction:
