Democrats' Paygate exposed
There's a lot of coverage on this subject but Black Conservative Perspective does a thorough job explaining the details about how Democrats have been paying influencers obscene amounts of money to spew their talking points for them. Democrats it seems have always had to buy their influence because the reality of their positions is so inane.

Mortgage Fraud is the new 40
Democrats who tried to skewer president Trump on business fraud, an ultimately doomed to fail effort, are one by one getting caught with their mortgage fraud pants down. It seems like every Democrat has been doing it. Here's the latest one, ousted Fed governor Lisa Cook.

Canada really is a heartbreaking ship-show
If you live in America and you want to know how bad it has gotten in Canada in the last 10 years, watch this entire video (90% of which is people talking about specific issues). I guarantee you your mind will be blown. It's actually heartbreaking.
(If you want to see the economic situation, skip to 6:40).
The saddest part of this is that Canadian media is 1000% in on the Liberal Party game. There is no Fox News or equivalent here (unless you pay extra to get the American Fox News channel). We are instead fed a steady diet of how great Trudeau was, how great Carney is, how terrible the conservatives are. And you know what? The propaganda works. Even conservative leaders have to be careful to make sure they look like they see Trump as the bad guy or they will get politically wrecked. It's gotten so bad that that sort of thinking has infected many within the Conservative Party. 40% of Canadians back our common sense Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre. Yet it's not enough to overcome the political media machine that cranks up every election. Poilievre was on track to historically demolish Justin Trudeau, and potentially wipe out the Liberal Party. But as soon as the party switched leaders Mark Carney became Canada's supposed economic savior.
All that while Pierre Poilievre's since removed top political advisor was hanging up the phone on Donald Trump Jr., alienating the Trump family. That's what's called a perfect storm of BAD.
But ultimately it is the Canadian people who are being decimated by ruinous policies, whether they are brainwashed Liberal Party simps or clear-thinking rationale people (conservatives). Canada has become unsustainable and unless there is a change in the next 12 months, it will collapse in the coming few years.

Window Dressing Is Not A Win
Cracker Barrel rolled back it's logo changes, but not it's DEI. Last night when people were crowing about how the backlash and then later president Trump chiming in caused a reversal for Cracker Barrel, I was thinking wait a minute, that's just a logo. What's actually changing that really matters?" Benny Johnson, after stepping back from the original euphoria of victory came to the same conclusion:
The Fed gets it finally (way late mind you)
The Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell capitulated; he's admitted he was wrong on the impact of tariffs and the markets responded, positively and strongly.
Last Friday in Jackson Hole, Federal Reserve Chairman Jay Powell finally – and grudgingly – admitted what the Trump team has been saying all along: tariffs don’t fuel inflation.
At most, tariffs create a one-time adjustment in prices, not the kind of runaway spiral that demands punishing rate hikes. And even that one-time bump may be negligible if, as we have long argued, foreign exporters – not American consumers – shoulder most or all of the burden.
The implication is clear: whether the impact is zero or merely a one-time step-up in prices, there is absolutely no justification for the Fed to hide behind "tariff uncertainty" as an excuse for overly restrictive interest-rate policy.
Now it's time for the Fed to act. The words themselves are not enough and the U.S. rates are well behind the global curve:
Global rate spreads underscore just how out of touch the Fed is with the rest of the world. The European Central Bank’s deposit facility sits at 2%. The Bank of Japan holds near 0.5%. China runs its seven-day repo at 1.4%. Against that backdrop, the Fed’s 4.25%–4.50% target range remains a glaring outlier – more than 200 basis points above Europe, nearly 400 above Japan, and triple China.
It's time to act decisively. If Powell does, watch out; the economic boom will be that much bigger.

Asmongold victorious over broken-armed Karen
I'm a bit late to this topic but I had to chime in with a "well done". Asmongold successfully vanquished the Chicago Karen who got a broken arm and didn't want troops protecting herself. Why is this a good thing? I'll let Asmongold explain it himself:

A Democrat cheating to win? Say it isn't so.
This guy (Omar Fateh, running for mayor in Minneapolis) was just following the Democrat playbook; cheat to win. That said, Asmongold's assessment at the end seems fair:

I would not be opposed to a future Charlie Kirk presidency. This is not just common sense it's explained in such indisputable and simple terms.

Why Alzheimer's matters from a political lens
This video is fascinating, it talks about a some things that are interesting from a political lens. There's a lot to be taken from this video from a health perspective and they are worth considering. But I have two additional, not primarily health-related takeaways that matter in a more political realm.
Trust The Science?
The first takeaway, in this video Dr. Benjamin Bikman, a leading metabolic scientist, points out that for decades brain plaque was considered the root cause of Alzheimer's. It turns out billions have been spent on what was either fraudulent or at least flawed data. Decades spent on trust the science.
Science at it's root is based on the principle of question the science. You don't learn by not asking questions, you instead inculcate wrote dogma. Science has always improved because the field was founded on the principle of asking questions. The science of gravity was once considered locked in by Isaac Newton. Einstein took it further and in an entirely different direction, and even Einstein, as brilliant as he was, was not the be-all-end-all on any scientific subject. So when they told you that the science on climate change was settled, no it wasn't, and it still isn't.
And when they told you that the Pfizer and other COVID shots would prevent catching dying spreading worse symptoms and that the normal 7+ year clinic trials weren't necessary because all the kinks were worked out, and jab your kids - yeah, QUESTION THE SCIENCE.
Insulin resistance and TDS
The second takeaway is a little less obvious. Dr. Benjamin Bikman also mentions that insulin resistance is connected not only to Alzheimer's but also depression and a lot of other mental health issues, there is something that comes to mind. In the unrelated video below, there's an interesting path that was followed on how we got to the obesity epidemic. The timing of that is eerily close to the rise of radical leftism. Is it possible that so many on the left who are depressed, anxiety riddled, suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and often just crazy in their worldviews (think transgender athletes competing with women), are suffering from insulin resistance? As our diets changed, we opened the doors to not only obesity but a host of metal issues? It seems plausible.
Fat Fiction:
JD Vance is going to be the next president
My thinking is that he's the obvious next GOP nominee and the Democrats are so far from being able to put together an sensible and effective platform it might not matter who their nominee is. My gut says it will be Gavin Newsom, and despite his smarminess and clear California failures, he is an effective speaker. That said if JD Vance is prepared, I think he can both debate and charm Newsom of the debate stage. Here's another take:

I'm not going to shed a cheer over this.
Perhaps several dozen "hurray" cheers though. Democrats are in trouble in 2026, and I think it's becoming clear, barring something unforeseen, the GOP majority in congress will expand. So too says Newt Gingrich, no slouch in the political analysis world.

What is wrong with you people?
Hamas is a sick and twisted terrorist organization, Yet many countries want to create a Palestinian state; which would seem to be an attempt to appease them (at least from the perspective of Hamas, and other radical Islamists. Whether Palestine deserves statehood is another question and it must be completely removed from the Hamas situation. Hamas must be eradicated before any recognition or even discussion of Palestinian statehood occurs.
This article explains it perfectly:
On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas launched a brutal assault on Israel. As 5,000 rockets slammed into civilian targets, terrorists massacred at least 1,200 Israelis, wounded about 3,500, and took 251 hostages. They raped, eviscerated, mutilated, beheaded, tortured, and incinerated their victims. At least 75 hostages have died, and about 20 remain in captivity.Prior to the attack, 137 UN member countries recognized Palestinian statehood. Apparently unbothered by Hamas’ savagery, and distressed by Israel’s aggressive military response, 10 additional nations recognized Palestine after the attack. In the last month, Australia, Britain, Canada, and France provisionally joined them. Led by France, the European Union and 18 countries signed declarations criticizing Israel for defending itself and signaled that they too are poised to recognize Palestine. The United States is the last permanent member of the UN Security Council refusing to go along.International support for a two-state solution obstructs ceasefire talks and “encourages and rewards” terrorism, Secretary of State Marco Rubio responded, while senior Hamas political bureau member Ghazi Hamad observed that Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack brought the Palestinian cause to the forefront, and “is why all the countries are starting to recognize a Palestinian state.” Israel’s chutzpah in defending itself is the other reason....The global demonstrations against Israel, violence against Jews on U.S. campuses, and Israel’s diplomatic isolation are rooted in rampant antisemitism and Marxism. But for Donald Trump and evangelical Christians, the world could lose the birthplace of Western civilization and the only democracy in the Middle East. If that happens, believe the aggressors: The United States is their next target.
Appeasement never works as intended.

What happened between Trump and Poilievre?
Is this the real reason Trump torpedoed Canada's conservative party leader Pierre Poilievre explained in this video? It makes a lot of logical sense.
Badge of Honor
This morning I got a dirty look for no apparent reason. I couldn't figure out why someone passing me by would do that. Then I realized that I had worn my American Eagle T-shirt. I'm treating the dirty look as a Badger of honor. It was accidental, but I'll take it; I'm not taking off the T-shirt and in fact I'm going to wear it out more often now.
I however have mostly Levi's, so maybe I don't have the greatest jeans...
It Starts: Wall Street predicts Trump tariffs failure

Meanwhile in Spain
This is not the first time this has happened in Spain, where citizens have made known they are tired of illegal immigration. As I previously mentioned, this is not just Spain where people have had enough, it's becoming a European thing as much as it is a U.S. thing.
Meanwhile in Ireland
It's not just England, Ireland has stopped standing for poor immigration decisions. Ireland, except for ANTIFA that is:
Meanwhile in England
This is fascinating. Have citizens of England FINALLY started waking up? They haven't had a decent prime minister since Margaret Thatcher. Their problem is similar to that of Canada; they keep voting against their own national interest.

Pelosi insider trading facts are wild
Cory Booker angling for 2028 presidential run
Cory Booker is a very left leaning Democrat. He also seems to be an establishment-acceptable guy. And he's also a grandstander. By refusing to endorse a communist mayoral candidate for New York City, he's clearly angling for a 2028 presidential run. Why is not clear; while the race is supposedly wide open, if Gavin Newsome runs the fix will be in for him. And regardless, Corey Booker is highly likely to Kamala Harris (Munson) his own candidacy anyway.
SCOTUS finally fixed it (sorta)
Ending the race-based redistricting - the cheating that has been helping Democrats for 6 decades - has been fixed. That doesn't mean other forms of cheating won't continue and that nothing else in the electoral process needs fixing. Far from it. Nonetheless, this is very good news for fairness, for Republicans, and one more thing for Democrats to rant about.
Come the 2026 midterm election night, this will be brought up again and again by the mainstream media as the real reason for the expanded Republican majority and will by no means be a mandate for common sense, er Republican wins. When that happens, remember to look at this: voter turnout levels and party support percentages. Don't be fooled.

Corporation for Public Broadcasting shuts down
Why is public broadcasting necessary? It's clearly been entirely biased to the left. Subsidizing that, just like USAID, is free Democrat subsidizing. So goodbye, not sorry to see you go.

Matt Taibbi savages the New York Times
Over Russiagate. It's brilliant. Go read the whole article, but here's a wonderful excerpt to whet your appetite:
More irritating is Savage’s diatribe against Patel and the hoax “narrative,” offered without mentioning the roughly ten million instances in which the Times botched its coverage of Patel and Republican investigations into Russiagate. When Patel and then-House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes released the much-denounced “Nunes memo” about FISA abuse in early 2018, Savage personally “annotated” the document, which would be vidicated more or less entirely by an Inspector General investigation nearly two years later.
The New York Times continue to operate as if their opinions rather than facts will DICTATE what people believe. It's beyond being propagandists at this point, the NYT has become pathological in their TDS leftism. If it weren't so worrisome it'd just be sad.
Visa and Mastercard decide for you now?

Canadian voters are idiots
President Trump made himself the boogeyman in the last Canadian election. What did voters do? Vote for the same party that has decimated our economy. Why? Fear. Actually fear combined with sheer stupidity. We have a long way to go to catch up with Americans as far as common sense goes.
