Corporation for Public Broadcasting shuts down

Why is public broadcasting necessary? It's clearly been entirely biased to the left. Subsidizing that, just like USAID, is free Democrat subsidizing. So goodbye, not sorry to see you go.

Giver-ment shutdown

So the government (or use many union members seem to think of it, giver-ment) is shutting down. It would be far too simplistic for the Tea Party to simply say, "Good. Bring it Democrats." Although it would be very satisfying. Unfortunately it is a little more complicated than that.

You got it Pontiac

Right in the face.     Ouch.

 

 Looks like tomorrow GM might announce the discontinuation of the Pontiac brand, which often seemed derivative of Chevy, and therefore redundant.

This in addition to the 9 week shutdown.  Bleeding cash GM is struggling to meet the June 1 deadline for Obama's restructuring plan.  While it may be too little, too late, Pontiac seems to be the odd man out.
