If you live in America and you want to know how bad it has gotten in Canada in the last 10 years, watch this entire video (90% of which is people talking about specific issues). I guarantee you your mind will be blown. It's actually heartbreaking.

The saddest part of this is that Canadian media is 1000% in on the Liberal Party game. There is no Fox News or equivalent here (unless you pay extra to get the American Fox News channel). We are instead fed a steady diet of how great Trudeau was, how great Carney is, how terrible the conservatives are. And you know what?  The propaganda works. Even conservative leaders have to be careful to make sure they look like they see Trump as the bad guy or they will get politically wrecked. It's gotten so bad that that sort of thinking has infected many within the Conservative Party. 40% of Canadians back our common sense Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre. Yet it's not enough to overcome the political media machine that cranks up every election. Poilievre was on track to historically demolish Justin Trudeau, and potentially wipe out the Liberal Party. But as soon as the party switched leaders Mark Carney became Canada's supposed economic savior.

All that while Pierre Poilievre's since removed top political advisor was hanging up the phone on Donald Trump Jr., alienating the Trump family. That's what's called a perfect storm of BAD.

But ultimately it is the Canadian people who are being decimated by ruinous policies, whether they are brainwashed Liberal Party simps or clear-thinking rationale people (conservatives). Canada has become unsustainable and unless there is a change in the next 12 months, it will collapse in the coming few years.

Canada's new (interim) Prime Minister heads to Europe

Justin Trudeau is finally gone. His replacement Mark Carney is from the same school of leftism. He's headed off to Europe to make friends, and avoid dealing with president Trump. Thankfully this man's tenure should be very short.

Jim Acosta is no Walter Cronkite

That Jim Acosta is still employed somewhere, anywhere, is baffling. That he mentions Walter Cronkite in this clip is stunning because while Walter Cronkite was still biased towards the left, he was at least no propagandist. Jim Acosta has the propaganda bona fides to march in a Soviet parade.

He should not have Walter Cronkite's name in his mouth ever. He should instead be referencing Joseph Goebbels.

This does not matter

Calling out the New York Times does not matter. Mostly it doesn't matter to be more precise.  The New York Times will not change it's stripes because people who already thought they were vile, disgusting, manipulative and deceitful see this as vile, disgusting and manipulative (and probably deceitful too).  The New York Times is what it is: a radical left propaganda vehicle, and nothing more or less. It will not change, it's too late.  It will go down to absolute bankruptcy continuing to do what it has been doing for decades; lying for the left's ignoble cause.

Where this does matter, is to those who pay attention that they may be reminded of what the NYT is, and to those few who happen upon the story on Fox and are awakened to the ill intent and evil of that rag.

Tulsi Gabbard is not wrong

At the risk of sounding like a Democrat with Trump Derangement Syndrome, and coming across as a conservative with Let's Go Brandon Derangement Syndrome, I do believe Tulsi Gabbard is correct when she says Democrats are lying and spreading propaganda.

Anyone who deals with this Chinese government is a knowing sellout. At the level of presidents and prime ministers you can't not know these things.  And if you know and are willing to make deals with them, you are a criminal and a traitor to your country.

Where is the China Exit Strategy?

China has become a global problem as well as an American problem.  They have moved down the path towards being a global military threat.  They have embarked on a predatory mercantilist style of economic imperialism not just in Africa, but also Europe, the Americas and the rest of Asia.  They conduct espionage on a grand scale as well regularly manipulate their currency and steal intellectual property on a similarly massive scale.  Not to mention they have suppressed their own people with both propaganda and physical force. All of this is done by various Chinese entities in thrall of the oppressive, imperialist, expansionist communist regime or by the communist party itself.

Make no mistake, China has become a menace on global scale in the last 20 years in particular.  It has become more evident to some due to the at-a-minimum secretiveness around COVID-19. But it has not opened the eyes of enough people.  Because all the while this has become more and more evident both Republicans and Democrats in America as well as leaders in other nations around the world have shortsightedly chosen to enable China rather than thwart their evil global ambitions. No one seems to look beyond their own short term interest enough to see China as the bad actor that they are on the global stage.

How much do we need to see before we wake up?  If you are not "woke" to this you are part of the problem.

A holistic China Exit Strategy is needed.  With president Trump leading it has been apparent that European countries are willing to join American leadership on some issues.  Not only does the world need a military containment strategy, removing economic and intellectual ties or at least returning them to a balanced reasonable level is necessary and should be the objective. 

Supply chains cannot be moved overnight but they must be moved.  Not everything needs to come back home, there are other countries willing to trade with the U.S. fairly. 

While it's necessary, it won't be easy.

But that's only part of the solution.  A robust policy of trade in high technology goods is need.  Immigration, employment, and education all need monitoring, restrictions and controls put in place.  Chinese hacking needs to be aggressively countered, worldwide.  Chinese immigrants require a different level and type of scrutiny than others.  Embargos may be necessary.  COVID reparations should be provided to affected countries.  World Trade Organization membership needs to be reviewed.  And a pacific counter-alliance between America, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and potentially other regional nations would be timely.  An alliance of both an economic and military nature would be best.   A jointly funded and managed alliance unlike NATO would provide a level of military and economic security long overdue. 

It's become crucial that president Trump wins the 2020 election because he is the first president since before Richard Nixon to recognize the threat and to want to do something about it rather than have America be the frog in the slowly boiling pot of water as communist China rises at the expense of the rest of the world.  American leadership, and the provision of a liberty and fair, capitalist alternative to free stuff from China are critical now.  It cannot be ignored any longer, we do so at our own peril. 

Testify: It's all lies

If the president were serious about how the United States is perceived in the world, he would not have handled the scandals involving spying on the press, and spying on citizens the way he has mishandled it all. There is so much down side - not for the president, but for the country - to not taking control of this situation. In the eyes of the world, it's all lies.

I don't mean taking control politically.  That seems to be the path the president is taking. He is busy blaming Bush, arguing that it has helped foil terror plots, and that he welcomes the debate over security vs. liberty - as if he can't wait for Bush's terrible policies to finally be put to rest.  He is trotting out obscure people to make statements and take questions so as to disassociate his own face with these scandals, and to spread the image of accountability as far and wide as possible. Those are the actions of a self-serving politician.  What would a real leader do?

The first thing a real leader would do is, to borrow the vernacular, recognize.

A real leader would recognize the issue.  The issue is multifaceted. First of all there is the foreign impression this creates.  There are so many people in this world who despise the United States, who truly believe that all of the talk from America about liberty, and virtue and human rights is just talk. This despite the Obama apology tour.  And with these scandals coming out one after another, their suspicions about the United States, in their minds are confirmed. Pravda, People's Daily and the Islamic Republic News Agency have enough from these scandals and the ensuing non-answers to last their propaganda mills for years.  The United States is suffering immeasurable PR damage and it needs to be stopped.

Domestically, the damage is even greater.  If the government does not believe in its own Constitution, then the country is not what it claims to represent.  Why should citizens believe in a government that does not believe in its own rule of law?  How is that different from a Ghaddafi government in Libya?  The covenant between the American government and its citizens has been broken - by the government.  Why should the government then be respected or kept, by the people of America? What nation is left to believe in?  THAT is scary.  

No fourth amendment -> no Constitution -> no country.

Having recognized the significance of the situation, a leader, a real leader, would repudiate a lot. He would level set on what the Constitution means to the country and to him personally.  He would testify as to his believe in the Constitution and he would repudiate any wrong-doing on the part of the government.  He would the agree that as much as possible must be brought forth with respect to how the government is dealing with it's own citizens so that the truth is known and any errors in judgement and any .  He would differentiate between what the government will do with foreign threats and operatives (yes, spies are still necessary) and what protections it will ensure are afforded to the people of America.  He will delineate how those liberties will be protected.

He will repudiate any foreign accusations of American hypocrisy by saying that one brief period of errors is not a pattern unlike what has happened in Russia or China or Iran or Syria (for example).

That's what a real leader would do, not hide, not cover his own ass or compound lies with more lies.  A real leader does not spout slogans and platitudes - a real leader leads, and fixes problems. Now if only America had a real leader.

It's Oscar night.  How do I know that besides the Oscar pool at work that I assiduously avoided? It's all over the television. Other than the fact that the Oscars have turned from a celebration of excellence in film into a gaggle of Hollywood liberals congratulating themselves for finding new and inventive ways of trashing the United States I think the Oscars are great.  No.  That's not true.  The Oscars are the same as many other major award ceremonies. They are a platform for progressivists to propagandize their beliefs as if they were the norms of society yet bask in their own greatness and making touching films about these matters. In other words, they are self-important, self-indulgent, delusional pieces of fluff that liberals want to take oh-so-seriously. Kinda like the movies they trumpet.

Since the math doesn't support their argument, they rely on an inattentive audience and obfuscation to get their story line out there. And it works, much less so than it used to, but it still works. In other words - they're not changing. They won't do the math.

CNN - Certainly Not Neutral

CNN came in to existence as a great idea - a news feed.  Looking back, the writing was already on the teleprompter - CNN was doomed to ratings decline because of the irresistible urge to proselytize (that's a good word, look it up) the viewers.  It's no secret what political slant Ted Turner was (or is) - he married Hanoi Jane after all.  A liberal slant, a media outlet, and armed with the conscious or unconscious understanding Alinsky's rules for radicals (specifically 5, 8 and 12), all made the journalistic drift from news to editorializing inevitable.  That formula can't exist forever without consequences.

Google - Propoganda on Climate Change

I do not know how long the link has been on google's main page (Google Canada at least), but do not go to this link.  It's global warming propoganda at it's worst.  Now that I said that, I bet you'll go check it out.  If only there were some place to leave comments.  Oh, wait, there is - by contacting them directly.

I noticed the same link didn't exist in Google, Google UK, Google France or Google Germany. Apparently we Canadians are the test bed for global warming hysteria. Great - thanks a lot Google.
