As I have said all along, president Trump will be on the ballot in Colorado in 2024. Let's add Maine to that list.

Maine is an idiot
Maine has gotten into the act of trying to ban president Trump from the 2024 ballot. This too will fail.

Maine rule Georgia. Wait, what? Why?
This is wrong. Georgia is bluer than it used to be but it is not a blue state. It's a conservative state. Applying the electoral method of Maine to Georgia is a defeatist idea. I like Red Eagle Politics but this is reactionary, and not a well thought out idea.
Unless, you do it with California. Then you are talking something I could get behind. Think on offense, not defense.

Midterms Matter: For Maine's 2nd District, please support Bruce Poliquin
Maine's 2nd District congressman Bruce Poliquin is up for re-election. Although Bruce Poliquin is leading in the polls, the race is listed as a toss-up. But should voters actually turn out, Poliquin should win in a romp against his radical socialist opponent. But that really depends on voters turning out to vote in favor of common sense and against bad ideas. Your vote matters.
Please support his efforts; volunteer, donate or at least check out his positions on his website. And by all means - vote.

Maine Senate: Charlie Summers
Angus King sounds like he should be wearing shorts and a beanie and playing Back In Black guitar riffs. Just saying.

Romney fever is not back, it was never here.

The Republican vote split - is it simply geographic? |
With a win in a week-long process that finished up yesterday, Mitt Romney is back in the win column. It was predictable, as was the whole Romney-is-back-in-the-game meme in the mainstream media and the mainstream conservative media. Romney is back, and the Santorum roll is over. But just as it was too soon to say that Romney had lost all momentum, it's too soon to say he's regained it. No one has really had a ton of it and it is still early in the race. Maine changes nothing.

Helping Out Paul LePage
Paul LePage is running for governor of Maine. He's only 3 points up on Libby Mitchell. He needs your help and more importantly he needs your vote. He's a common sense conservative, and Maine could use that.
Want to know more?
His opponent, on the other hand, is a big spender of taxpayer money.
