World Socialist Website talking Democrat candidates
| Infecting America for decades. |
Masquerading as a profiling of Democratic candidates The World Socialist Website is profiling numerous Democrat candidates that it is clearly supporting. What is especially interesting, indeed frightening, is that a vast number of them are former CIA operatives.
In addition, it is truly frightening that so many Democratic candidates that clearly enjoy covert socialist support, are not being exposed for the extreme radical views they share. It's a deliberate Democrat ploy to stealthily get socialist and socialist sympathizers into the congress of the United States.
Check out the entire shocking list (parts 1, 2 and 3). If your congressional candidate is being supported by socialists it is especially important that you do your level best to help the Republican candidate running against them in your district.

GOP - too many candidates?
Andrew Klavan weighs in on whether a large field is good or bad. At least we're not the old white people party like the Democrats.

Do we need fewer GOP candidates?
We aren't getting anyone else so let's concentrate on the ones we've got now. Huntsman is out, following Bachmann and Cain. And Trump for that matter. That leaves us with Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry and Paul as the possibilities. Would fewer candidates allow for someone to seriously challenge Mitt Romney? There's a strong case to be made that if everyone dropped out but one not Romney candidate, the eventual nominee would be not Romney. The problem is, Perry, Gingrich and Santorum are not going to blink. They all want to be that last man standing and benefit from the convergence of the not Romney vote. But the longer they hold out the further ahead Romney will get as the not Romney vote is split.
Conundrum.
Conundrum.

GOP moving parts almost stop moving. Let's predict.
![]() |
| Oh really now? |
With Sarah Palin and Chris Christie bowing out of the race, the nominees are pretty much locked. With states moving up their caucuses and primaries, the dates are locking in and coming soon. The moving parts are stopping their moving and locking in for the GOP nomination process. With things locking down predictions about what is likely to happen are somewhat easier, though by no means have they become a simple task. The ubiquitous "a lot can happen between now and..." still applies.
Just ask the guy on the left.
Things change, and we can't wait for the next one. The question is, who will it be to replace America's significant O?

Thoughts on the Republican candidates debate
I'm a political junkie so you'd be pretty safe in assuming I'd be glued to Fox News' Republican candidates debate yesterday evening. And I did watch it, for all of about 8 minutes. But even I could not stay tuned. It's not that I thought it was bad. It's not that I thought the candidates were bad. In fact these are some quality guys. But for some reason it could not hold my attention. By the time the local rerun of Big Bang Theory came on, I was long gone. Perhaps it was too early in the election cycle, or maybe I just wasn't in the mood. If I couldn't stick around to watch some good people who probably won't be the nominee debate each other, then I can't imagine there was a big audience for it. So the debate was almost like an exhibition game where a number of the practice squad players and rookies were on display.
I have nothing major against any of those candidates, in fact at least one was someone I could see myself supporting. But I just don't see it materializing for any of them, at least not yet. In fact, the more I think about it the more it feels like the pre-season.

90 Names To Know - The Conservative Target List
Jim Geraghty made the list, and I'm sure he checked it more than twice. This list, right now, is the best compilation of on-the-bubble Congressional Democrats that can be beaten in November. I strongly urge you to read it.
Your job? See if your Congressional Representative is on here and then figure out what you can do to help conservatives and the GOP take back Congress. If your rep is listed here - it's going to take more than money, you're going to have to volunteer time and effort to work to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) or engage those who are as of yet undecided. If your rep isn't listed, consider making donations to Republican candidates that are opposing these vulnerable candidates.
