When a BLM activists tries to shoot a Democratic mayoral candidate, it won't get notice in the mainstream media. Why? It goes against their established narrative, and they can't have that.
Black Conservative Perspective makes an interesting suggestion about using Black Lives Matter (BLM) over their reaction to a New York City restaurant incident, as useful idiots to show that vaccination passports are causing division in America. I've argued for this approach myself in my Rules For Patriots (Rule #9). But it's tricky because BLM clearly wants to portray this as a racially motivated incident.
However leftist policies have not just unintended consequences, but seriously dangerous ones; they are promoting racial division at the same time creating ridiculous COVID policies that facilitate further division, creating an amplification effect. This is setting up a liberal versus liberal altercation wherein it might just be better to stand back and let the left eat itself instead of stepping into the fray. Additionally, you are putting a business that has been squeezed by Democrat COVID regulations and lockdowns, trying to comply with mandates just to stay in business into further jeopardy if you enable BLM in order to point out how asinine liberal policies actually are. So are they just collateral damage in the bigger picture? Even if Carmine's is run by ultra-leftists (and I don't know that it is), conservatism is about protecting the little guy in the face of an overbearing government. They shouldn't just be dismissed as collateral damage.
Lastly, I am 99% certain that BLM won't turn this into a vaccine passport issue, because for them it's a race issue. They will focus on that.
All that said, they can still be useful idiots. In fact they already are. You are going to have ultra-liberal NYC prosecuting three black women, and BLM fighting them on it. Either way, a leftist liberal body is going to lose this fight) and it doesn't matter which one it is because they are spending time and treasure fighting each other. My biggest hope in this case is that the fight drags on for a long time, costs a lot for all involved (except the restaurant) and derails as much as possible on both sides.
Democrats are late to the party when it comes to riots. It's really getting out of control, and it's probably going to ensure a president Trump re-election, so at least that's a good thing.
BLM protests have spread from the NBA to MLB and now even the NHL. Stopping playing your sport is not going to change minds, it's going to turn fans into former fans. Players keep saying they are protesting and want a dialogue. As if that's what they really want - they just want to virtue signal. As if actual dialogue were their desire and facts could show them black on black crime FAR exceeds police on black crime - they just want, like BLM, to tell the rest of us what to do.
As this meaningless virtue signaling spreads like a cancer, it prevents more and more, real progress from being made. But that won't stop them. These players, just like everyone else blinded by manipulated media, just want to "make a difference". The problem is that making a difference, just like change (from Hope and Change) is meaningless without specifying exactly what kind of difference or change they want to make. Do they want to defund the police? I bet if you asked them half the players would say yes to that and the other half who are just virtue signalling would say no, if only privately.
What type of change you want to make is what actually matters. Defunding the police is a step towards Marxism because it is a step towards weakening America, so that it can eventually be replaced with a Marxist regime. Trust me, the police brutality then will make anything from today pale in comparison.
Nobody wants police brutality to exist. It should not exist. It needs to be stamped out. It is not however, exclusively a black lives problem. It is not a problem that will go away easily either - it requires rethinking hiring policy, police mental health maintenance, and it really comes down to a case by case basis. There is no systemic racism behind these cases. That's because systemic racism is not really a thing anymore. Some cases may involve individual racism, certainly. But that is harder to eradicate or even find sometimes. These groups who want to eradicate the problem by getting rid of police are engaging in overkill. Misguided overkill at that. It's like the anti-vaxxers who hear one study, now disproved, that says vaccines cause autism and stop vaccinating their kids; resulting inevitably in a rise in previously eradicated health problems like measles.
These people do not investigate before they clamor for change of some unspecified degree. If you want to convince me change is needed, come with irrefutable facts, not half-shown, edited videos and fuzzy cries of police racism.
I had been thinking about doing a post explaining how Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organization. Thank you Prager U for saving me the work and doing a great job at this. This needs to be shared, not enough people realize this.
Bravo Terry Crews for being very sensible about things, as well as articulate spokesman for common sense. Don Lemon however, could not take it and had to constantly interrupt. That's par for the course for Lemon, as well as CNN. That's they're part of the control mechanism Terry Crews talks about, even if they don't realize it.
As for Lemon, he's just rude, opinionated and uninformed. I don't expect any better of him. And just so you don't think its a racist thing, I feel the same way about Brian Stelter, Chris Cuomo, Jim Acosta and the organization as a whole.
