When Al Gore Praises You, You're Done
Oh boy, talk about the kiss of death. Mitt Romney's conservative bona fides is already suspect by many in the Republican base. How can it not be with so many flip-flops and the creation of ObamaCare's father RomneyCare. Adding to conservatives' suspicion of Mitt Romney is Romney's new support for Global Warming. A support he has stuck to as well. Now the chief charlatan of the Global Warming hoax, Al Gore is giving Mitt Romney a big Kudos!
If conservatives ever need more proof that they should think long and hard about having a President Romney, this is it.

President Obama blowing smoke
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is crediting its anti-recession stimulus plan with creating up to 50,000 jobs on dozens of wind farms, even though many of those wind farms were built before the stimulus money began to flow or even before President Barack Obama was inaugurated.
Out of 70 major wind farms that received the $4.4 billion in federal energy grants through the stimulus program, public records show that 11, which received a total of $600 million, erected their wind towers during the Bush administration. And a total of 19 wind farms, which received $1.3 billion, were built before any of the stimulus money was distributed. ( See a list of the projects here.)
Yet all the jobs at these wind farms are counted in the administration's figures for jobs created by the stimulus.

Global Cooling Prediction
A low Solar Cycle means less solar winds which, as demonstrated, means less cosmic rays bombarding the earth. Solar winds prevent cosmic rays from reacting with water vapor. That reaction is believed to cause cloud formation. Since there will be more cosmic rays bombarding the earth, it means more cloud formation, which means a cooler earth. Ergo, global cooling.

If you notice the peaks during the years 1980 to 2000 , they are quite high and coincide with the high temperatures observed in the 1990's. Coincidence? Not likely. Just as the Maunder Minimum coincided with the Little Ice Age. Isn't that strange?
Hence my prediction, that through 2020, we will see a period of global cooling and get to witness Al Gore eat his words. Well....probably not, on the latter point, but if I'm right, he should.
Good news for skiers, bad news for the global warming Chicken Littles, and bad news for anyone who enjoys a warmer climate.
Of course, I'm no expert. But these guys are.

Earth Hour: A message to tree huggers.

There is no global warming as it's being told to you. There is climate change, but it's happened for millions of years and our footprint as a species is infinitesimal, you self-important fools. The earth is not in crisis.PS - Notice how Al Gore and Al Qaida both start with Al? Coincidence???

Al Gore, hot air for the planet
Following some bizarre rabbit hole on Twitter, I stumbled across Al Gore and then his blog. Listening to (or reading) this man is maddening. And I don't mean maddening in the way that losing your car keys is maddening -I mean he makes me think of something akin to shaken baby syndrome with him as the victim. [kidding, lighten up Francis] "For the next two decades or so, the climate will continue to change: Historic levels of built-up greenhouse gases will continue to warm the world -- and spin it toward new patterns of conflict. So we need to do more than simply reverse climate change. We need to understand and react to it -- ordinary people and governments alike -- in ways that avoid conflict. Over the next few years, we may find that climate-change accords and peace treaties start to overlap more and more. And we may find that global warming is heating new conflicts up to the boiling point."
Actually, in a book released last year, The Age of Consequences: The Foreign Policy and National Security Implications of Global Climate Change, Professor Leon Fuerth addressed this very topic in a thorough and thoughtful way, as he has done for years. Leon was my National Security Adviser when I was VP, and is one of the most thoughtful analysts I have ever known. I recommend his analysis in this book. In addition the rest of the book is well worth reading.

What if I were a liberal?
I was thinking the other day whether it was possible for me to have turned out as a liberal, in stead of the staunch fiscal, national security and to a lesser, but still solid extent social conservative that I am. There are certainly enough external influences in media, society and educational institutions to push the uncommitted or non-interested person in that direction. I don't think I could have turned out a liberal. But I can see how many liberals are 'made, not born', as a result of a loose coalition of indoctrinators.December 15, 2008
Climate Change hysteria cranked up again
His article starts out with this hysteria;
But here's an article from 2007 talking about Seth's penchant for apocalyptic verbiage and lack of consideration of the facts; When Bill Clinton took office in 1993, global warming was a slow-moving environmental problem that was easy to ignore. Now it is a ticking time bomb that President-elect Barack Obama can't avoid.
Since Clinton's inauguration, summer Arctic sea ice has lost the equivalent of Alaska, California and Texas. The 10 hottest years on record have occurred since Clinton's second inauguration. Global warming is accelerating. Time is close to running out, and Obama knows it.
Global warming is simply bunk. If you want to see why, there's documentary proof here.Wednesday, September 26th, 2007 11:38 AM
It would seem that the AP, through Seth Borenstein, whom we have come to know as a man who like to whip up some controversy with his articles on the environment and global warming in particular, has done it again.
Not unlike his previous articles, though, he has also exposed - at the very least - as an exaggerator of the highest order.
It has been across the board been BASHED by scientists who regard this article as fear mongering of the worst kind. To me, it is just another indication of just how desperate the AGW proponents are to forward their DYING AGENDA.
But specific to Seth's points, if the summer arctic sea ice has lost the equivalent of Alaska, California and Texas, what does that mean?
Anybody? Global disaster? How about the fact that there are global ice ages and warmer periods and that seasonal and yearly fluctuation are natural. If the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has been tracking this since 1979, then do you really think we have enough of a historical basis for these crazy conclusions? Do 28 monthly points of data sound like enough to make a predictive model? I wouldn't base my target marketing efforts at my day job on such a flimsy model. But we're required to stop all world efforts because of this? How can people, including some scientists, be such Luddites?Seth's other point about the 10 hottest years on record. Check out http://www.climateaudit.org/ for some hard science. Too deep for me to plow through right now, but this chart, from Watts Up With That? clearly shows otherwise.
Top 10 GISS U.S. Temperature deviation (deg C) in New Order 8/7/2007:

But Al Gore says the Arctic Ice only has 5 years left. And we all know he's the real expert.
Way to go Al.
