Asmongold's reaction to Joy Reid's tears

Asmongold is a popular YouTuber who may have just absorbed the red pill by slow osmosis due to the far left's insanity.  Here he gives an honest reaction to Joy Reid's firing and subsequent tears.

Sadly, Trudeau isn't gone just yet

Yesterday the far left New Democrat Party's (NDP) leader Jagmeet Singh ripped up his deal with Justin Trudeau's far left Liberal party.  The NDP formed a coalition with Trudeau to make his minority government a majority due to the alliance, making for a guaranteed 5 year election cycle. That ended yesterday, as Singh finally realized that Trudeau was slow walking much of the NDPs demands, and 'siding with the corporate interests instead of workers'.

Sadly, that doesn't end Trudeau's unholy reign on Canadian government. Parliament is not in session, and in order to force an early election in a minority government, a motion of non-confidence must be voted on in parliament. Parliament doesn't reconvene until mid September (after a ridiculous 2 month summer recess.  Parliament sits for about 145 day per year as if it was grade school. Yeah).

Even more sadly, the problem doesn't end there. Just because the NDP has no deal with the Liberal party, doesn't mean they will immediately support a non-confidence motion. In fact Singh has already stated that he will support or refuse to support Liberal legislation on a case by case basis.

Jagmeet Singh is trying to have his cake and eat it too. As Justin Trudeau's popular approval has tanked over the last two years, people had called on Singh to tear up the deal propping up the Liberals, but he refused to do so - even after several Liberal members of parliament had questioned Trudeau's continued party leadership. The pressure has only intensified on Singh to force an election. He finally relented.

It was certainly a surprise to many, but it was an obvious move. Canada's economy is currently in far worse shape than America's. Singh refusing to let Canadians get into life rafts and instead forcing the country to cling to the sinking ship Trudeau, was not a tenable position.  Even former NDP leaders have questioned his motivation. Some have even speculated that the reason for his hesitancy has been that as of February 2025, he has enough tenure to qualify for a ridiculously rich government pension.

That aside, Singh is clearly trying to thread the needle - being seen not as a Trudeau lackey and sticking up for voters, but also keeping an eye on the polls.

Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative party has a massive poll lead and it has been sticking for quite some time. If an election were held today it would result in a Conservative landslide. Trudeau would end up with the Liberals in third place, and Singh's NDP would end up in fourth.  Yes, it's that good for us and that bad for them. Singh is now in a position to see if his poll numbers rise as a result of his phony sudden indignation. He can try to wait for the most opportune time relative to polling, to join or create a non-confidence motion to topple the Trudeau Liberals. He doesn't need to rush.  And with that pension issue out there, he certainly has incentive to not rush before February.

That does become a double-edged sword.  If he's seen to vote for an election in any way that puts him past his February-eligible rich government pension, people we see him as a self-serving scumbag. Rightly so. But maybe he is one and he doesn't care about popular opinion.   There were times in the past had he helped force an election, the far left NDP would have fared much better than they are doing right now.

It could also be the case that this is all window dressing.  He may want people to believe he's declared independence from the coalition government but will still ride it out until October 2025, when an election must be called regardless. The result for Canadians, is that for some period that remains to be determined, we are stuck with Justin Trudeau. Happily the maximum amount possible is now only 13 months.

Project Veritas exposes ultra-left teachers. Now what?

 Fox News covers the story:

I don't think anyone is surprised anymore that this garbage is being dumped on children. What surprises me is that not moe is being done about it. Parental outrage it seems, is not enough to create real change in the schools or even the school boards. The only thing that might work is economic pressure.

Perhaps collectively withholding municipal property tax until something is done could have an effect for example. Maybe not. But more needs to be done across the nation, at a local or state level to get this sort of anti-American behavior to stop being taught to children as some sort of moral good. It's the exact opposite and you know it. Unless you help put real pressure on school boards, teachers' unions, schools  and teachers, this is not only going to keep happening, it will keep getting worse until it's too late to save the Republic.

Why the far left are fooling themselves, and why conservatives must join them.

If you are a progressive you have to be ecstatic right now.  You ousted Trump (by fair means or foul is inconsequential), and the mainstream media and social media Big Tech have conservatives on the run, about to be routed perhaps forever. You have a president who is willing to do whatever he told you and doesn't cares about the labor unions who supported him and now have workers getting laid off. Democrats control the house and senate and are trying to kick Republicans out of the house and senate entirely. As exciting as all of that sounds to you, you should be very, very worried.

Progressives, you are fooling yourself and conservatives, now is the time to join with progressives to stop what all Americans, all Westerners, hell - all people of the world need to be are in danger of becoming.  Unnecessary.

I know that sounds strange but it's true.  I urge you to consider the following, before it gets to late to do anything.  If you are a progressive, conservatives do indeed sound radical and dangerous, but that is only if what you are hearing in the mainstream media is 100% true.  I urge you to consider taking in information from some non-traditional non-mainstream sources and see the news you are missing or are being filtered out of your line of sight. It's not going to harm you or poson your mind to look or listen. You may disagree with these conservatives, but they are not bark-at-the-moon crazy.  They have legitimate concerns that are not being addressed, and in fact it's worse - they are being silenced.

The concern you should have is that you are next.  Think about it.  If you were a dictator and wanted to move to an Orwellian police state, who would you need to silence first?  The gun-toting live free or die conservatives.  How do you silence them?   Make them look crazy and take away their ability to make a difference.  Silence them into submission and make them apologize for that which the do not need to apologize.  Herd them into a persecuted minority.  Once you have accomplished that, then you can do the same with those who are on board with your agenda because their agenda isn't actually your agenda.  They will have been useful puppets up to a point, but after the conservative  resistance is destroyed, the progressive crowd can be turned on itself similarly. Once there is no one left but the elite-supporting low-information proletariat the elite can do anything they want.  ANYTHING.  Their agenda is to achieve self-serving wealth-generating elitist goals. If there is no one left to fight back then they can do anything - lower the minimum wage, offshore all jobs, take away benefits, take away rights - whatever it takes to maximize their own wealth, at everyone's expense.

These are not the 1%, they are the 0.001%.

You don't believe me?  You realize that is exactly what Putin has done in Russia in his corruptocracy. He used to be Soviet KGB, now he's a self-serving elite. It's the same thing that exists in China but they are still functioning as a normal-appearing government.  This is what president Trump was railing against.  It's why they fought so hard to destroy him.  That you wanted him destroyed was mere convenience.

You want to put conservatives in re-education camps?  What happens when it's your turn?  Doesn't that frighten you?  It should, because you are indeed next.  The elites do not want to change America to a more inclusive place, they want it more exclusive.

Conservatives.  You've been abused by the left as much as by the elites of both parties.  You've been disillusioned by those you thought were on your side within the halls of power from Chief Justice Roberts, to Mitch McConnell to Paul Ryan to Bill Barr, all have let you down.  The truth is you have no allies there.  You cannot gain allies in the mainstream media or Big Tech.  Their goal is to eradicate your resistance to their agenda by negating you as a political force. Everything you try will be stopped sooner or later.  There is but one group that you can align with, if they realize it in time.  Progressives.

Why?  Because the underlying truth is that this  is not about conservatism, liberalism, libertarianism, progressivism or even capitalism or socialism.  It's about those inside making sure that they work together to disenfranchise everyone who can stop them.  The only way to stop them is for EVERYONE on all sides of the political spectrum to but their grudges aside and focus on stopping the elite from fundamentally changing America. They do not want equality of opportunity.  They do not even want equality of outcome unless it is an outcome that maximizes their power and wealth and minimizes everyone else's.  We need allies, and we only need to awaken allies.  That takes incentives not invectives.  That's the only way to stop what's happening.  We need to awaken progressives to what's going on, not antagonize them.

President Trump, and getting our hands dirty

Years ago I argued that then Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was not really a left-of-center conservative.  My point was that in a generally far left of center country, he had to move the country to the right cautiously or risk losing his government to the Liberals. I stand by that even though after a decade he finally lost power to ultra-liberal, ultra-clueless Justin Trudeau after accomplishing far less than I'd hoped during that time.

The situation in the United States is different than Canada when it comes to president Trump.  His predecessor tried to move the country to the left radically and with as much haste as he could muster.  The United States moved from it's historical position to something that looks a lot more like Canada and given the upset that candidate Trump sprung upon the left in 2016, the fierce resistance to moving the country back to the right is not unexpected, nor is it's ferocity or subterfuge.

The president has taken exactly the right tack on getting America back to it's original place in the world and it's original course.  That is to say he's playing hard ball, he's fighting everything they throw at him and not backing down and he's charging headlong into the fight and wasting little time in doing so.  That seems to have rubbed off on some other Republicans. The Democrats have been taken aback and are on their back foot but do not expect that to last (even the wording of the story is laughable - the president did not negotiate and Schumer backed down and is now trying to save face with his base, by claiming withdrawing something he never had any say on, which will only serve to further his look of indecisiveness). Trump is winning by playing hard ball.  Yes he fights dirty and that's the point.  Arguably he does not fight as efficiently or focused as he could, but he has a team in the Senate and House that can, should and often does take up the fight alongside him.

Now is the time to shift the pendulum back to the right as far as possible in the next 10 months, four or eight years while the opportunity lasts because the march to the left is unrelenting. You can say you don't like his demeanor and I'd agree to some degree, but you cannot argue his successes; judges, economy and elsewhere. If you are not on his side as a conservative, you could at least do the right thing and stand aside rather than joining those who stand in the way who your future complaints about will ring hollow after this presidency.

Getting our hands dirty in the effort to thwart progressivism may be unlikable but it is necessary and it is at this point in history a requirement - anything else will result in the failure of conservatism and ultimately, America.

The Far Left have co-opted the term Far Right for political purposes

This video from Rebel Media explains quite well how the term "far right" has been twisted by the far left for the purpose of 1984-thought-crime-style censorship of ideas.  The one exception I have with it is that it skims over the Nazi far right misnomer.  Nazi is the German truncation for the term National Socialist.  Socialist means far left, not far right.  Other than that, great video.

Thursday Hillary Bash - Losing the Left

Has the dependable liberal Huffington Post turned on Hillary Clinton?  In a post to follow this one, the Washington Post talks about Elizabeth Warren's rock star status on the left.  With that happening and now HuffPo clearly less enamored with Hillary, is her star starting to fade, long before the 2016 presidential contest begins?

As far as the far left goes, it sure seems to be the case.  It's not just that Post Huffington is questioning Hillary's credentials, it's how they are doing it.  The salvo clearly comes from the populist left;
In 1992, a 44-year-old attorney made the following remarkable assertion: "For goodness' sake, you can't be a lawyer if you don't represent banks."

The attorney was Hillary Clinton...

Having been an attorney briefly myself, my reaction upon hearing her comment was: "I know nearly a hundred lawyers, but not one represents a bank." My lawyer friends worked for unions, tenants, immigrants, indigent criminal defendants, civil liberties, civil rights, battered women, prisoners on death row, etc. (Which explains why I wasn't a great fit in corporate media.)
Read the last paragraph in the article - Hillary Clinton is part of "the same old Democratic players". Ouch. The left doesn't like her. Maybe she can still win the Democratic nomination without the backing of the progressive left, but her job will be a lot harder. And momentum can have a curious effect, as Hillary herself knows from 2008.

The far left was right!

It looks like those we thought were far left fringe kooks were actually right about President Bush. Remember they had said he would suspend the Constitution and declare martial law and not give up the Presidency at the end of his term? He was going to turn the United States into a police state. All of this was possible because he was an idiot. Looking back, it all came true.

Well, not exactly. But clearly a lot of it has come true. He did not declare martial law.

But according to Ed Morrissey on Hot Air, Bush is still pulling the strings;

"This answers the rather absurd meme that has popped up on liberal blogs, that the Bush administration is responsible for this report.  First, while the Bush administration might have wanted an assessment of right-wing extremist threats, it didn't necessarily want one that painted returning veterans and conservative thought on abortion, illegal immigration, and federalism as extremist threats, nor did it want a threat assessment that couldn't find a threat and had no data on actual, specific groups.  Secondly, and most obviously, this report was dated April 7, 2009, almost 3 months after Bush left office."

(Note: link to follow, this entry is mobile
blogged).

So Bush really still is running things. He is probably running the Obama administration like a puppet master. That explains the suspending of the Constitution. President Obama is considering the Fairness Doctrine. He's considering Card Check. He's firing CEOs. He's nationalizing the banks. Clearly this is all the work of President Bush.

He's probably responsible for the Tea Parties. And he co-opted the mainstream media to report kindly on it.

I think we can all thank the lunatic fringe for being right on this. Thanks for the heads up on the death (by a thousand cuts) of freedom guys. Clearly Bush is out of control...
