This ugly situation of the attempted assassination of president Trump, is getting uglier with blame-shifting and finger pointing:

Until recently I was not familiar with Oversight Project.  They have done some investigative work on the Trump shooter that the FBI either hasn't (and won't) or at a minimum hasn't shared (and won't). I'm not saying this is all correct, but it does make you question how much truth we are being told about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump (I strongly urge you to scroll through the chain of self-replies for the full story):

How long do we have to avoid reality before we stop being labelled as conspiracy theorists?  These are legitimate questions being asked and summarily dismissed.  

Addendum: They have put a deep state operative in charge of the investigation of the assassination attempt. Janet Napolitano has been a political appointee by both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and now the Let's Go Brandon Kamala Harris White house. So everything should be fine, nothing to see here folks. Great.

So they increased security and a 20 year old almost succeeded.  Kim Cheadle must be fired.

Still not a conspiracy...but

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. Honestly. There are a lot of reasonable questions being asked:

Not a conspiracy

I've always claimed to not be a conspiracy theorist and when I talk about conspiracy theories it's generally because I am wondering about the possibility of there being any truth to it in a specific instance.  So it might seem like I actually be a conspiracy theorist. I'm not. I tend to believe the simplest, most obvious explanation is generally the most likely. Right now, there are a lot of theories floating around about the lax security at the assassination attempt on Trump. One common posit is that security was so poorly organized that it had to be an inside set-up job. 

I don't think so. I think the Secret Service was more concerned about Diversity Equity and Inclusion than it was about Security, Safety and Protection. DEI is leading to incompetence. The best person for the job, IS the best person for the job, quotas which are no longer legal in college admissions should most certainly not be applied to secret service security, it's absurd.  And yet, it's a practice.

Most of the agents on the ground did remarkable work. What was missing was the pre-planning; how was that building not secured?  Where was the coordination with local police who were warned about a man on the roof of the building?  The incompetence was primarily in the planning of the security; that is at a higher level. Failures in planning led to this possibility.   But that is not a deliberate conspiracy, it's fundamental incompetence.

Here we go

The Trump shooter was nominally a registered Republican.  That means nothing;

...However, when he was 17 he made a $15 donation to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises money for left-leaning and Democratic politicians, according to a 2021 Federal Election Commission filing. The donation was earmarked for the Progressive Turnout Project, a national group that rallies Democrats to vote.

This person was not a legitimate Republican.  He likely registered as a Republican so he could pull of  his heinous attack with less difficulty.

But the media will twist this as they always do. They are not above using that to dull the critiques of their vile, violent anti-Trump narratives. They have no scruples.
