Thank God he's safe (literally)

How many times now has a leftist or Democrat tried to assassinate an American president (or candidate) or an entire GOP baseball team?  All the way back to Abraham Lincoln it's been the Democrats or their ilk doing this.  Why? Because the right are basically common sense, law abiding people. Even the assassination of RFK was a Palestinian, not a conservative. JFK's assassin was either a crazy person, or a communist or a mob hit. Yesterday Donald Trump was nearly killed by an assassin.

I'm not suggesting this is 100% purity on the right versus 100% evil on the left. But it's closer to that than anything else.  Politics did not defeat Trump - from impeachments to suspicious voting rules in 2020. Lawfare didn't make Trump less popular.  Trying to remove him from the ballot in different states didn't work. Public opinion has turned in his favor.  What's left? Let's Go Brandon a week ago said it's time to put Trump in a bullseye. Hmm, seems like desperation. When Sarah Palin did it, oh it was terrible.  When Let's Go Brandon does it, um, perfectly okay?

When Trump complained about election integrity in 2020 he was falsely accused of insurrection.  When Al Gore did it in 2020, it was using all potential remedies to correct an injustice. When Hillary Clinton, a clear and on-going election denier for 2016 outright and repeatedly claimed the election was stolen, perfectly legitimate. Not the voters, but the Democrat leaders and leftist elite are evil. They use people.  They incited this violence by comparing Trump to Hitler (just like they did with Bush) and then when something like this happens they meekly denounce it and they will let their useful idiots take the fall for them. Evil, vile, scum.

Thank God president Trump is not only safe but this will ensure his electoral victory in November. It no longer matters if Let's Go Brandon is the candidate or someone else, Trump has won. The United States by mere millimeters has likely just avoided a civil war. This would have literally torn the country in two.  And while that civil war raged, China probably would have invaded Taiwan, Russia would have probably started using tactical nukes in Ukraine, and Iran might have launched a war nuclear or otherwise, on Iran. It could have precipitated WWIII just as WWI was precipitated by an assassination. That's why I think God was involved, not just saving Trump but saving the world from an absolute chaotic mess. It's not that time.

In a famous scene in Pulp Fiction Jules claimed it was divine intervention that they weren't shot and Vincent asked Marvin "Do you think God came down from Heaven and stopped the bullets?" This I believe was that. 

At first I was skeptical about that conclusion; Trump is no angelic choirboy. While he's had so many things attempted to try to take him out of the race for president you'd think that he just has to be a tool of the devil since he's been so lucky.  But God works through imperfect people. Trump has been a good leader but he's definitely an imperfect person (as we all are). Whether you support Trump or not, the unimaginable global outcome of an assassination would have been devastating.  So literally, thank God he's safe.
