Why you should not panic about the polls

Rush Limbaugh used to advise his listeners (me among them), don't live and die by the polls. Sound advice in an era where most polling is designed to influence opinion rather than reflect it. If you watch the polls (and I do), you cannot blindly follow a single poll, or even a group of polls 'aggregated' without a grain handful of salt at the ready. Polls are often designed to discourage or encourage voters of a particular stripe to not vote, or vote respectively.

They often do not inform, but rather misinform. So either ignore them, or else take care in how you approach them. Steven Crowder points out that a dose of reality should be taken along with any polling you ingest:

Unseemly conservative split

Unseemly.  Steven Crowder's disagreement with Daily Wire / Ben Shapiro is a business and/or strategic difference on conservative approach to the culture war.  Only they know, and they probably see it differently as to on what it is they disagree. So why are conservatives taking sides and piling on?  That's not helpful to the conservative cause.

For example, Mark Dice posted the following:

Steven Crowder has revealed himself to be one of the biggest frauds in conservative media. Bigger than most Conservative Inc. clowns, all while claiming to oppose them, which is a whole new level of grift. People need to know that he only decided to “expose” the Daily Wire as being Conservative Inc. *after* they turned down his request for $30 million a year (120 million for four which was his counter to their initial 50 million for four).

But he's making it seem like *he* walked away from "50 million dollars." NO. They rebuffed his counter demand of $120 million and cut off all further negotiations with him cuz he wanted too much money and they realized he's a primadonna.

So now he’s grifting, hoping to get people to buy memberships for his mug club so *he* can “reveal” that *they’re* only about money.

How does that help?  This is a specific disagreement, there's no need to take sides. Enjoy them both, or either one you prefer, or neither, and remain silent about their dispute.  DO NOT pile on for either side.  It will eventually sort itself out.  Taking sides, is making rifts where no larger rifts are needed.

With the odds stacked against any sort of success, I still applaud Steven Crowder's move. This is an important exercise and with the Big Tech oligopoly aligned against Reddit users, conservative voters and in general anybody but themselves, this is important.

Steven Crowder has started an American Masterclass and it's great.  Here's episode 1, which focuses on the first amendment to the Constitution.  Let's hope it does not get demonitized or shadow banned by YouTube (a.k.a. Google) for some unspecified and invalid reason.

Carlos Maza is on an evil crusade and must be stopped

First he came for Steven Crowder and the YouTube Adpocalypse followed in it's wake with possibly tens of thousands of YouTubers, mostly conservative, were demonitized if not outright removed.  Only those impacted and their fans stood up. 

Next it seems, Carlos Maza, emboldened by his success, decided to continue with his evil quest by going after the Donald Trump subReddit.  Yes, it actually happened. Here's his tweet about it:

Then the subReddit was quarantined. 

This is no mere coincidence. Maza must be stopped. He is systematically taking down any opposition to his communist agenda (he's a self-proclaimed Marxist).  Tim Pool pointed out that the Reddit situation was (i) not as bad as implied and (ii) probably trolled with fake racist and homophobic accounts to set up this take down. 

The larger point, free speech, even bad ideas, must be protected.  The "world is not flat" was once considered a bad idea.  Bad ideas are merely a matter of perspective.
