Let's Put On A Show!

Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland were always able to save the day. Of course they had smaller fish to fry than some do today.

"I know how we can save the old theater! Let's put on a show!"

Today there's bigger problems to deal with. Despite being a 'progressive', apparently the President is still enamoured with the old school solutions.

"I know how we can save the old country! Let's put on a show!"

Of course in this case they are taking the term 'save' in a very liberal context. By save they mean change it to something unrecognizable. And of course, the show isn't so much to save the country as it is to distract people from the big changes that they have planned.
