More laughable stuff. The rats in the story are the Democrats and the media running cover for them:

Conservative NFL picks
I haven't got much time to post today, but I thought I'd talk a little bit about the NFL playoffs. Specifically today's games - GB vs. Atlanta and Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore. After much deliberation, weigh offenses versus defenses and point spreads etc., I've decided to keep it simple instead. I'm going to make my picks based on who has the more conservative home state.
Based on that Green Bay Wisconsin is in a less conservative state than Atlanta Georgia, so I have to go with Atlanta. Baltimore Maryland is in a historically less conservative state than Pittsburgh Pennsylvania so I have to take the Steelers in that game. Let's see how that works out.
Tomorrow when I have to pick New England vs. Jets and Chicago versus Seattle, I may have to switch it up to least liberal state or my head will explode.
Exit point: I just remembered that Rush Limbaugh used to make environmentalist picks (or perhaps still does, I can't listen as often as I used to listen) based on the competing team logos. The derivative nature of this post was unintended.

Yet more scandal?
Baltimore mayor, Democrat Sheila Dixon has been indicted for 12 counts of felony theft, perjury, fraud and misconduct in office. The hits just keep on coming. It's become tough to keep up with events over the last two months. It's as if the Democrats are deliberately trying to get all their scandal, all their graft out of the way before Obama takes office.
At this point I'm speechless - the Democrats keep giving conservatives something to talk about but there is so much fodder it's almost impossible to do it all justice. At this rate we should consider just starting a chronology of headlines and before the election just flash a scandal count on the TV adds with the words Hope and Change behind the total. I half suspect the Democrats to suddenly shout out in unison "April Fool's!"
The biggest irony in it all is that a big percentage of those who voted for hope and change probably aren't paying attention. Sure, they'll tune in on Inauguration Day and that will be it for 4 years. In a Democracy you get the government you deserve. Those who didn't turn out for McCain because he was squishy might be enjoying the show, but the problem is that as a single nation, everybody suffers the fallout from the election of these self-serving, hand-in-the-cookie-jar yet holier-than-thou Democrats. Let's hope the damage can be contained.
