Sunday Laugh - sleep
BOSTON—According to a new study published in The New England Journal Of Medicine this week, human beings were never meant to wake up after falling asleep, but were rather supposed to remain in a deep, peaceful slumber until eventually expiring. “Our research team of evolutionary biologists conducted an extensive and thorough examination of human physiology, past and present, and determined that human beings were, in their ideal state, supposed to be born, spend a solid 12 hours awake as an infant, and then lie down for a tranquil, dream-filled sleep from which they would then not awaken,” lead researcher Dennis Zeveloff said of the findings, which also suggest that life for early man was not supposed to last longer than one day. “Eventually, after spending three or four weeks lying comfortably in bed, humans were meant to just slide directly into death. In fact, the truly optimal state toward which human evolution aspired was for all individuals to succumb to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome almost instantly after exiting the womb.”
I guess lately I've gotten a lot closer to my biological imperative.

Sunday Laugh - Breaking Bad Middle School Musical
Here's a bonus Sunday laugh. Like many other people, I'll be in Breaking Bad withdrawal for a while. Videos like this one may help with the transition to a post Breaking bad world.
NOTE: If you haven't seen the brilliant series, you may not want to watch as the re-cap musical contains spoilers. Otherwise, enjoy.
Sunday Laugh - Geek vs. Nerd
I'm not the world's biggest fan of rap but I am a bit of a geek. Or is that a nerd? Anyway, I found this amusing.

Sunday Laughs
This actually isn't that funny. Society is undergoing a dramatic shift in how people interact and with all of the electronic talking going on, no one seems to be talking about the changing ways in which people interact. I'm not saying the changes are good or bad - they have elements of both - but it is worth having conversations about the implications of the changes, and it doesn't seem to be happening.
It should be happening. It has political implications but even bigger social implications.
All that said, it is still kinda funny to see a sign like this.

Some Sunday funnies for you.

Via Urban Dictionary:
Stupid liberals:
...believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't. :
...believe the government will do a better job of spending the money they earn than they would. :
...believe Freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it. :
...are way too irresponsible to own a gun, and think that the local police are all they need to protect them from murderers and thieves. :
...believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius. :
...believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters. :
Those stupid liberals voted for pie in the sky again.

A Sunday Laugh At Biden's Expense
Yesterday I was looking for some information related to a post I was working on and I stumbled across this website put up by the White House. They've decided to heavily involve Vice President Joe Biden in the Strong Middle Class farce.
The video is comical in it's dishonesty (or at a minimum political spin), but what truly surprised me and got me laughing was that this video is on the front page. Why? The ending is a literal show stopper. It's funny.
Half-baked indeed. That's much like a lot of this administration's plans and ideas.
