Friday Musical Interlude - Silver Springs

Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac.  Destined originally for Rumours, possibly the best song not put on an album.  It was instead released two decades later, as a live song on The Dance, garnering a Grammy nomination for that version.

Friday Musical Interlude - Go Your Own Way

I think I posted this one before, years ago, but a theme developed this month, and it fit. Friday Musical Interlude - Sir Duke Day

This Stevie Wonder song, about Duke Ellington, was the #1 song in the first week of June 1977 when Star Wars was the #1 movie.  Good song.  Too bad Stevie Wonder decided to boycott Florida because of the Zimmerman verdict.  While he may be musically talented, he shouldn't venture into politics and/or criminal justice.

Here's Sir Duke himself, with 1939's Take The A Train.
