Devin Nunes is genius

There are few political pitbulls in the Republican party, but Devin Nunes is one of them.  Better still, he's an effective fighter.  Best of all, he's a genius.  The GOP needs more like him.

Here's why he's a genius:

President Trump really is a stable genius.  His move to allow cameras into the immigration meeting with both Democrats and Republicans - it was brilliant.  He was seen to be a fair, polite and respectful negotiator.  The media who have been slamming the president as unsuitable for office were forced to show the president being a leader.  It blows up their narrative.  It shows him not only being stable but the move itself was genius.  CNN apparently does not realize they've been cleverly trolled by the president.  

Maybe the president should do this more often, it's a better way than Twitter to get the truth out. Now he's not only got Republican and Democrat positions on the public record, he's done so in a presidential manner.

There's no word if rabid anti-Trumpian stooge Jim Acosta's head exploded after Wolf's comments.

I've said it before - Milton Friedman, genius.

A while back I included Milton Friedman's series on capitalism as part of my Saturday Learning Series posts.  The man was a genius. I've read some of his work and it is truly inspiring, and it's been too long since I've posted some of his thoughts.  Here are two videos of the man discussing capitalism and society.  The first one is him discussing the Inheritence Tax and the redistribution of wealth.  Similarly, the second is him discussing the myth that the government has benefited the poor at the expense of the rich and the reality of the fact that the government robs from both the rich and poor to give to the middle class.

Milton Friedman: pure genius

Milton Friedman in 1980 explained why pretty much everything President Obama is doing today, is wrong.  His genius was profound.  While there are scores of great economic thinkers today, sadly, the ones who get noticed, are the likes of uber-liberal Paul Krugman.  It makes Friedman's accomplishments all the more impressive in an era prior to the Internet, Drudge and Fox News that he could have risen to notoriety reserved today for only left-leaning economic thinkers.
