The administration is anti-American and anti-humanitarian

These people are being used.  A good administration would not allow this to happen, let alone encourage it for political gain.

Ask yourself, if most of these illegal immigrants are Haitian, why are they at the Texas border?

Is anyone surprised Al Jazeera America might harbor anti-Americanism?

Apparently, yes.
Last week it was a $15 million wrongful termination lawsuit claiming a senior executive repeatedly expressed an anti-America, anti-Semitic and anti-woman bias plus the exits of the EVPs for Human Resources and Communications that hit the Qatar-backed news network. Today, another top executive headed for the door...

Mary McGinnis told staff in an email Monday that she has decided to resign because she could not “support the decisions or direction set forth by him (Shihabi) and the Al Jazeera Media Network would be welcome to leave.” The veteran CBS News employee joined AJAM as SVP of Newsgathering in July 2013 just before its August launch. McGinnis became SVP of Corporate Outreach for AJAM back in March.
Apparently yet again, we have anecdotal proof that CBS executives can be fooled. Is it okay to say we told you so when you decided to join the network?

I wonder what Al Gore thinks of all this at the network to which he sold his television empire? Actually, no I don't.

James Cameron's utter prejudice in Avatar

You've heard the terms racist and sexist. You've heard the terms homophobia and Islamophobic.
What do you call James Cameron and his rabid anti-military tripe in Avatar? Okay, I haven't actually seen it yet. To be fair, I will, but I will wait until I can borrow a DVD when it comes out. I don't want to support this sort of message in any financial way.

Yes, I may be guilty of pre-judging Avatar, but there's a lot of bloggers and pundits who say the military are portrayed as sadistic goons in Cameron's film. So based on circumstantial evidence, I offer this only somewhat baseless accusation (a la the lefty style of brainless robot attacks*):

James Cameron is detrimilitarist.

In other words - he is biasedly and deliberately detrimental to the military. That's my new term for someone who hates the military reflexively and with prejudice. Yes, I made it up. But there's nothing fake about the concept. Liberals run down the very military that defends their right to do so, with a seeming reckless pleasure.

What else could it be but prejudice? And reflexively now they add that you must understand that they don't hate the troops. That's supposed to ease the sting. The truth is you can't really make that distinction. But that's a post for another day.

*Bonus Note: you think I'm wrong about the baseless left comment?

What about Danny Glover saying the Haiti earthquake was the result of the failure to come to an agreement in Copenhagen at the Climate summit. Really. As Rush Limbaugh says - you can't make this stuff up folks.

UN - Ditch the Dollar / Save the Planet 2

Part 2 of 2

(See Part 1)

After trying to give voice to a massive energy tax, the United Nations wasn't finished. A bloated and ineffectual bureaucracy's work is never done. As if to say "I bet you think we couldn't top the stupidity of the energy tax!" the United Nations pressed on with the idea of ditching the dollar in favor of a shared basket of multiple currencies. Russia apparently is preparing a similar proposal.

Why do it, and why do it now?

Currency specialist Avinash Persaud on the UN panel stated "There is a moment that can be grasped for change." Where have we heard that tune before? Obama. And also the Green New Deal the UN proposed. Is there one massive script out there the world is using to try to tear down the United States in a co-ordinated attack on it's infrastructure?

Persaud clearly has no faith in the long term future of the dollar:
Persaud has long argued that the dollar would give way to the Chinese yuan as a global reserve currency within decades.

A shared reserve currency might negate this move, he said, but he believed that China would still like to take on the role.
So is he or this panel the right one/group to be making this call? And if it's the right call, why is this the right time? The answer from Persuad is less than forthcoming on that point. In fact, given the worldwide economic upheaval, given that the Russians want it, given that the Chinese want it only adds to the suspicion of the rationale behind it. In fact given the UN's like of the idea, I'm suspicious in spades.

And while moving away from the dollar may be a reasonable thing to do, why a towards a basket currencies? Why not move back to the gold standard? If the timing for change is right, right now, why not a move to worldwide asset backed currencies? It smacks of slap-in-the-face anti-Americanism.

If ever there was a time to re-think the rationale of the United Nations, indeed now is the time for THAT change. Their blatant an consistent anti-Americanism, and anti-Israeli stances have been a thorn in the side of America for too long. The structure of the organization is bloated and ineffectual. One can only hope that is the case with these two idiotic proposals.

If indeed the President is serious about cutting spending (ha!), funding for the UN is a great place to cut costs. Unfortunately the cabal of leftists running things in Washington will probably buy into this UN-think and do, once again, the exact opposite of what is needed. All the while, the frustration of right-thinking America grows.
