Happy Independence Day
July 4th is a demarcation point in human history, a point where life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were defined as inalienable rights, free of government dictates to the contrary. It is a unique declaration and it deserves to be celebrated as one of the most important points in human history.
Keep that in mind as you celebrate the birth of your nation.

Happy 4th of July
An Aside for my Canadian readers: the 4th of July, or Independence Day is America's version of Canada Day. Except that Independence Day involves a fight for liberty, an understanding that taxation without representation is unfair. Also, in the United States, the French were allies instead of original adversaries and now a cultural variant that requires light treading in any political discussion.
Happy Independence Day my American friends. Your desire for liberty and justice for all are inspirational to people around the world. Not all people, but at least those of us who are awake and envious of your liberty (and prosperity). May your nation last a thousand more years and then another upon another. Treasure what you have, and fight for it - you are unique in human history and should feel pride in your ideals.

Happy July 4th America!
That's it, that's all I've got with this limited connectivity issue. No picture, no bandwidth to write a lengthy treatise on the meaning of liberty, or the sacrifice of generations to make America great. But it's a heartfelt wish from an admirer abroad.
Have a happy July 4th one and all!

Happy Independence Day America!
Independence Day - July 4th - a time for BBQs, family, celebratory fireworks, and perhaps a moment of reflection about the fact that every American has the blessings of liberty because of the brave acts of the founding fathers and those who fought in the revolutionary war (as well as those who have fought to preserve it ever since).
The uphill struggle they faced against a powerful empire was a testament to their belief in the legitimacy of their actions. That they persevered is a testament to the fact that right means might and not the other way around.
Those who forget the importance of freedom will soon lose it. Never forget the true meaning of July 4th to America. You are still blessed with the ability to make decisions and take action. With freedom comes a responsibility to help defend that freedom. You can do so by voting. You can do so by educating others who do not know or have forgotten that liberty is a fundamental building block to a better America and that government eroding those freedoms is a sure fire way to ending the American dream.
July 4th is a time for celebration, so enjoy it. But do not forget the reason for the day.

Happy Independence Day America!
July 4th. Independence Day. Don't dare celebrate it without some somber reflection, because the day represents something truly important and something from which you should be tirelessly inspired. As a 'foreigner' I can only look on with admiration and optimism.
Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it. ~Thomas Paine
Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it. ~George Bernard Shaw
Liberty is always dangerous, but it is the safest thing we have. ~Harry Emerson Fosdick
