I really, really thought when I read this internet meme, that it was a gag. Okay it is a gag. But apparently it's more of a gag order. I guess if the President had to lip synch, he couldn't go off script and betray his own lack of intellectual prowess to the American public. No this didn't really happen, but it's a biting take on style over substance, and it's a good laugh to boot.
