Unemployment down to 8.3% in January

In Canada that is. In the U.S. the rate was just announced at 9.7%

The expectation was that it would fall to 9.9% so the drop exceeded expectations - for now. Expect an upward revision soon. According to a recent Bloomberg article there's a model that has been used that has understated unemployment by over 800,000 for the last two years combined (source needed).

When that number is released look for a sneak adjustment of the current result. This way the Democrats can make it look like their solutions are working right now.
