Harry Reid insulted Barack Obama. Big deal say Democrats. Fine, let's see how they squirm around trying to defend THIS one.
According to POLITICO's Ben Smith,
I've finally gotten my hands on a copy of Game Change, in which John Heliemann and Mark Halperin report:
[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
The Democrat party seems to be full of closet racists. Ones who project their personal opinions onto others (Republicans). It makes them feel better - at least I'm not as bad as Trent Lott was. The truth is, they're far worse.
Speaking of which, how many times does Trent Lott's name get dredged up in defense of Bill Clinton this week? Oh look, Newsweek's already started it.
