Something I never understood was the protest movement claiming to be the other 99%. Who would want to be the 99% part of anything? The reason the so-called 1% are who they are is because they don't think like the herd. They are unique. They are creative thinkers. And if they aren't, if they're only lucky, then they will return to the herd eventually.
Trying to make the 1% feel bad for being different is anti-liberty. It's anti-creativity. It's anti-thought. I'm pretty sure Albert Einstein for example was in the top 1% of his field. He did mankind a service by being so.
