Not this Riptide. Back in 1985 Robert Palmer recorded this retro-sounding melancholy song of the same name as the more recent Vance Joy hit.
While the Robert Palmer version of the song was not a hit, the album itself was a monster hit, with such songs as I Didn't Mean To Turn You On and Addicted To Love.
