There have been no discussions about President Barack Obama changing his vacation plans and leaving Martha's Vineyard early, according to White House Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest.

But White House officials are "watching the weather reports" and tracking the progress of Hurricane Irene closely, Earnest said.

No word on whether it might speed up his jobs plan.
